Heading out in zodiacs to explore more of the sound allowed us to get closer to the arch in this iceberg

In March of 2013 after a Saturday snowstorm I headed to Sloans Lake in Denver to photograph at sunrise

I decided to add another dimension to the process and bring the readers of the blog as well as fans on Facebook into the project and have them vote for their favorite three images during the month of December

The result of this movement is the look of the pilings in this photograph as well as a smoothing of the water of the Gastineau Channel below

but you also get great days like this to enjoy the Juneau and the surrounding area

Reykjavik Reflection Size:16"x20" Heading out in zodiacs toWalking around a city is the best way for you to experience the city itself. On one day in Reykjavik I did just that and started to explore. As I headed down one street I found a nice reflection of the modern building right next to it and worked through the parked cars to find the best angle to capture the image.
