The late afternoon light was lighting up the remaining fall colors on a nice November day

With the warm temperatures the few days before this the accumulated snow did not amount to much but even so I grabbed my camera and headed out into the city

I made my way to Sloans Lake which is west of downtown

On a rainy evening I headed to the beach on the shoreline which is part of the Tongass National Forest. As I stood along the beach the rain was coming and going which also brought the cloud deck low at times. This small island just off the coast was coming and going in the rain and clouds.
