The storm would be the cause of the worst rip tide warning of the year, but was quite a sight to see safely from the shore. We were on a little road trip to Tybee Island from our??campground on another Georgian island, 60 miles away. We weren't looking for beach weather, a storm is exactly what we wanted to see, but as soon as the winds picked up, we left and
