Denver City Park | Note Cards Sand Dunes As the Skoga River approaches

As the Skoga River approaches the coast it drops 200 feet off the cliffs which were once the southern shoreline of Iceland

It was five years ago today I first photographed this tree in Washington Park here in Denver

The wind was providing some ripples on the lake and was also slowly moving the leaf

Making multiple stops on that evening I ended up at the Daniels & Fisher Tower along the 16th Street Mall and positioned myself in a location to capture the lighted tree as fresh snow continued to fall in the city

Heading to a familiar location I set up my camera and waited in the chilly conditions

As the largest park it is home to the Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, City Park Golf Course, two lakes and acres of open space for the residents of Denver to enjoy.
