With camera in hand I captured some images along the fresh snow

Just before the Memorial Weekend holiday in 2009

Designed by Fisher and Fisher in a style of Early Italian Renaissance Revival

It was great to have my feet in the sand and enjoy the sun as it soon headed down with a small bit of color on that evening

The area which I selected did not disappoint nor did the flow of traffic from multiple airlines at that time of night allowing for fine tuning of the process prior to the light disappearing

Flamingo in Chicago Size:11"x14" With camera in hand IIn the plaza of the Federal buildings in Chicago is the Flamingo sculpture by Alexander Calder. This was the first time in many years I walked past this location and on this occasion the orange of the sculpture and the black background caught my attention. Instead of photographing the full piece, I chose the just photograph portions of the piece with the buildings filling the whole background.
