Towards the end of the summer one year living in Missoula

While exploring the area around the shrine I found some fresh snow still along the water low sun providing some late morning light

When you find a tree which has character you find yourself back to photograph it in various seasons in different conditions

On Thanksgiving morning a few years ago

From a distance I spotted a tree which looked interesting in its location and when I got there found the fresh snow surrounding the area which I photographed and created this image

Dream a Little Dream Lake - Print Note Cards Towards the end of theI could have stayed in bed and continued dreaming, however I woke up early and headed to Rocky Mountain National Park and the Bear Lake area. After photographing around Bear Lake at sunrise I hike a little over a mile to Dream Lake. As usual there was a stiff wind, and once I got to Dream Lake it just started to howl. I didn't spend much time around the lake, as this was also a scouting mission for future trips towards Dream Lake later this winter.
