If you look carefully you can find some reminders of the Christmas season in the image on a nice evening late in the year

but the rest of the project soon fell into place

Lighthouse at Cabrillo National Monument Presentation:Matted Over the city there wasThe old lighthouse in Cabrillo National Park sits on top of the park, however there is plenty of more to do from whale watching in the winter, checking out the tide pools on the west side of the park or checking out the skyline of San Diego. Due to the location of the park it closes at 5: 00 PM, which means the nice light you will find for photography is limited to a few months of the year.
