Pair of Antique Walnut Square Cornered Cabinets h100 bright blue lanterns are handmadeShanxi, circa 1880 These wonderful cabinets are in walnut wood, beautifully crafted in a simple 'square cornered' style with the doors mounted on large rectangular brass hinges that match the central lock plates. They were produced in Shanxi province in central China, most likely used for storage in a bedroom. They are beautifully finished in a rich, deep brown that brings out the beauty of the wood. A single removable shelf is fitted inside each one.
