Kilchoman Summer 2010 Release Independent Bottling with marzipanLaunched in 2010 as the fourth official general release from the Kilchoman distillery on Islay. Matured for 3 years in first fill ex bourbon casks. Non chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%. Nose: Strong peaty aromas and a complex blend of pear drops, citrus and hints of mango. Palate: An initial sweetness is followed by peat smoke and the mixed fruits. Finish: Long, clean and refreshing leaving hints of peat smoke and cloves.
