the intense heat being the main concern

Interestingly this is much more floral than the Champonnets with notes of rose petal

but better in two or three years

Perrot Minot, Gevrey Chambertin other_regions_italy Tasted at the Cos d’Estournel(from La Justice and Les Seuvres). There is enough reduction to mask the underlying fruit at present. The palate impression of the tautly muscular middle weight flavors is completely different as this is quite firm and robust with good power that carries over to the balanced and impressively persistent finish. This is certainly Gevrey in character but thanks to the relatively fine grained tannins it avoids any sense of rusticity. Recommended. (89 92)
