I noticed the shadow from the bridge to the bay below and stopped to photograph this scene as a boat emerged from under the bridge

With some high clouds in the sky

Walking back to the area my car was parked I noticed the curve of the lake and trees in the elements which I thought would be the perfect opportunity to capture a winter scene in City Park to compliment the scenes from the other Denver parks

With the wind howling

I planned this for the whole day  and fortunately the weather cooperated as well for the image allowing for the day blue sky as a backdrop allowing me to capture the image as part of Thirty Days 2011

San Diego Skyline at Dusk Size:24"x36" I noticed the shadow fromFrom Point Loma in San Diego I captured this image tying in the city, San Diego Bay as well as the nearby mountains to the city. If you look carefully you can find some reminders of the Christmas season in the image on a nice evening late in the year.
