just before the town of Hana

to scientists and geologists as Mauna Kahalawai

Lumahai Beach Kauai bikepath the official name is "LaʻaPicture of Lumahai Beach on the Island of Kauai. This beach is actually east of Lumahai Beach However, it's technically a different beach called Kahalahala, which in Hawaiian means Pandanus Trees. Locals sometimes call it Tourist Lumahai. This beach was made famous by the movie South Pacific starring Mitzi Gainer where she " washed that man right out of her hair!"
