This small island just off the coast was coming and going in the rain and clouds

Using a telephoto lens I was able to zoom in close to the beach and waited from the next wave too come onshore giving three distinct variations of color

Even the City and County of Denver website has limited information about the park itself

The one thing which you have to do is get out and photograph

When I moved closer to the reflection I realized the new Dairy Block was reflecting the Merchandise Mart building across the street in some of the windows

Leaf at Washington Park Building This small island just offI found my walking around Washington Park in Denver during Fall. As I neared Smith Lake in the park I noticed a lone leaf in the water. The wind was providing some ripples on the lake and was also slowly moving the leaf. I found my angle to capture the image (while also staying dry) and used the ripples to fill in the rest of the frame for this image.
