and the structure on the palate shows a lovely balance between the tannin

Still somewhat closed on the nose, ripe, but definitely not overripe, with hints of blackberry and strawberry and a dark savouriness. Full on the palate, with nuances of liquorice, builds up tightly with fine tannins and a long, elegant finish.
