Cockles on the Coorong (Kuti on the Kurrangk) SALA 75cm x 60cmCockles have been a staple food for Ngarrindjeri people for thousands of years. When my Nan was growing up on the mission, one of the things she liked doing was shuffling her feet in the sand to find kuti (cockles) to eat.
