Sunshine on an Iceberg Size:16"x20" On this day I believe

On this day I believe I saw around 10 people in the park while exploring on snowshoes

In telling the story of historic architecture is it the greater scene you should capture or the specific detail you find in the building itself

The light in the later part of the afternoon started to give some shadows in some areas but it was the repeating pattern and lines which drew me into photographing the building

for a total of eight cards and envelopes

From a distance I spotted a tree which looked interesting in its location and when I got there found the fresh snow surrounding the area which I photographed and created this image

Sunshine on an Iceberg Size:16"x20" On this day I believeSailing past this iceberg the pure ice really stood out to me. As an iceberg melts it starts to change its disposition in the water based on the mass and how it is balanced. In this iceberg you can see some of the results of that shifting with the line of difference between the top and bottom. At that point there is also the clear ice which will sometimes happen at the water line or in this case where the water line was recently.
