They do look very similar to roses when closed. This one appears to be throwing some nice yellows, so I had to see her in person. I call these Greenovia, that was the accepted name for the longest time. The common name is Mountain Roses and the current scientific classification is an Aeonium. Regardless of what you call this rose, she's still beautiful and will measure in
