This small island just off the coast was coming and going in the rain and clouds

Being just a couple of hours from Reykjavik this is a popular place to visit but it is hard to tell that by using the field as a foreground element

Preparing for this at the western edge of the park I position myself close to where I felt the sun would be over the city when creating this image

Stream in Glacier National Park Size:18"x24" but it was all worthI had driven past this location in Glacier National Park many times while in the park in 2007 as well as the winter of 2008. However after some rain, the stream picked up speed a little bit and allowed me to capture this during my last visit to the park. As I stood on the side of the road a few people stopped to see what I was photographing, and were upset there was not an animal in the scene.
