I wanted to create the feel of that late Saturday afternoon sunlight in 2010 with the glowing colors and long shadows

but my photograph of a ZR-1 in Colorado convinced me to create a major work with a focus on certain details rather than a complete car

Naturally, Id like to take a red convertible Corvette on that drive, and thats what inspired California Dream. The old brick wall with a new sign advertising Vineyard Tours seemed appropriate.
