Colorado State Capitol Building Presentation:Matted As I was standing along

As I was standing along the boardwalk in Juneau

As sunset was approaching the park was filled with people playing disc golf as well as leaves from the trees as the peak color had passed

This image was taken from a distance capturing just the roof of the building and the lines and patterns it creates on the Vancouver waterfront

I came across a water storage unit

Using my wide angle lens and getting low to the surface I wanted to bring a scene which a person could easily step into the image and place themselves on the dunes

Colorado State Capitol Building Presentation:Matted As I was standing alongUnder a fall sky the Colorado State Capitol building rises from the shrubs and trees which surrounds the building. The lower sunlight helps reflect the gold leaf on the dome itself and highlights the image amongst the changing trees.
