A very sweet and good example of a rare French antique bear

Marmalade is a Merrythought teddy bear with golden mohair

He still has his label but it is no longer legible

He is much sturdier now with a lot of life left in him

i believe it is 1930s mohair it is jointed with glass eyes and it has a growler but it is not very loud

Showcased by Laura Fitzpatrick Aetna A very sweet and goodBramwell is a 1940 50s Chiltern Hugmee mohair teddy bear, made of golden mohair, he is stuffed with wood wool kapok throughout his body and head, fully jointed and has got original orange and black glass eyes. He has a black vertically stitched nose, inverted Y shape mouth stitching and original velveteen pads with carded feet in well loved condition. There is an inoperative growler in his tummy.
