Denver Evening from City Park Building With a 30 second exposure

With a 30 second exposure I was able to capture the movement of the clouds and start to also include in the image the stars as the day ended

Heading to Cheesman Park I found plenty of people out in the snow with their dogs

At first it was a reflection of a mountain in the distance I noticed

This image was taken as the Cyclone heads past me into the Colorado sunset on a nice last summer evening

From a distance I spotted a tree which looked interesting in its location and when I got there found the fresh snow surrounding the area which I photographed and created this image

Denver Evening from City Park Building With a 30 second exposureUpon landing back in Denver it appeared the clouds were lining up for a dramatic sunset in the mile high city. As I was driving home I was thinking about a couple of locations to take advantage of this light and came up with City Park due to time concerns. About a half hour prior to sunset everything was still looking great in the sky and as I quickly stopped home they mentioned it on the early news that it could be a colorful sunset once again.
