Sunrise over Denver Size:18"x24" I saw the first signs

I saw the first signs of light starting to shine on the sign at the train station capturing this scene under blue skies on a chilly morning

Prior to heading to the airport I stopped by Ann Morrison Park near the Boise River

Due to the location of the park it closes at 5:00 PM

One of those nights I headed out after sunset to photograph and found myself along Speer Blvd

With the sun starting to set late in the evening the clouds provides and interesting backdrop for the plane

Sunrise over Denver Size:18"x24" I saw the first signsDuring the equinox there had been smoke from fires in the west as well as some much needed rain in Denver. Last week I took advantage of the clear skies to capture sunrise over Denver. At this time of the year the view from Sloans Lake allows the sun to rise directly over the buildings in downtown Denver. Preparing for this at the western edge of the park I position myself close to where I felt the sun would be over the city when creating this image.
