Denver Skyline at Dawn Size:8"x10" Snow has not been plentiful

Snow has not been plentiful during the winter 2012/13

My initial plan was to photograph at the south end of Washington Park

this area on the northeast corner is now marked with businesses which were once thriving

With the wind howling

This was exactly the case as the sun lit up the clouds for a couple of minutes during the first sunrise for the year over the skyline of Denver

Showing up about 45 minutes prior to sunrise brought a dramatic looking sky over Denver. At sunrise itself a cloud deck had built up providing a muted sunrise this year as the month of November starts.
