La Gauloise Green Herbal Liqueur Size:700 ml The Uncle Nearest distillery isGauloise Verte is a herbal liqueur which, according to legend, owes its name to the fact that it was created when France was still called "La Gaule". The recipe for this liqueur was lost until 1783, when distiller and liqueur maker Edouard Requier found it in an old grimoire.
