It takes a while to plow Trail Ridge Road and open it once again for the season as it tops out over 12

but will do so in a few weeks for the season bringing more traffic to the road then what I saw on this day

November can be challenging and is a month of weather transition in the city

Just by moving a little I was able to position the light in a spot to get this effect as the structure just allowed a little hint of light

Snow and Ice Reflection It takes a while toStanding on Mendenhall Lake recently I looked down at the fresh snow on the lake which was frozen in my area. I have noticed over the past winters when in Juneau the different shape the snow takes which you can see on the ice itself in this image. As the coverage of snow varied I used this to build negative and positive space in the image created.
