This was the case this evening when I hiked up Green Mountain in Lakewood to get a shot of Denver and the rising full moon in November 2009

While driving a few years ago I was waiting for a train to cross and noticed a small reservoir northwest of Denver

Printed on 5"x7" card stock

On purpose I moved just a little to have more space at the top of the frame then the bottom to not make the image perfectly symmetrical

including the City and County of Denver

Smoky Denver Sunset Size:16"x20" This was the case thisAs some of the smoke from Colorado wildfires started to drift into the Denver area during the early Fall I headed out to capture the sunset from City Park. With many others in the park we watched the sun descend through the smoke filled skies behind the city and the mountains. With the smoke as a filter the sun turned bright orange and I wanted to capture this color while pushed the Denver skyline to silhouette with the many onlookers as well.
