Early Wooden Moulding Plane (Beech) brass An old Birmingham University CoinA nice old wooden moulding plane with a sole which looks like a slightly simpler version of a lambs tongue mould. Has a cross like mark (possibly a makers mark) on front nose. This tactile plane has many of the characteristics of a plane which dates in the 1700's. Plane width: 44mm Blade width: 27mm Condition: all parts move freely, good clean cutting face, please see photos for condition.
