Approaching the capitol building I thought about some different angles which could be a possibility on the One Mile Above Sea Level image which was taken in 2008

The challenge on this was trying to stay still with the wind howling at that time of time which is quite common in Skagway

and the number of people you see being counted on two hands however it is quite magnificent

Winter at Lake McDonald at Glacier National Park Size:16"x20" Approaching the capitol building IIn the winter of 2008 I was at Glacier National Park photographing and enjoying the scenery. After a day of snowshoeing up the road I was heading back and stopped at the west end of Lake McDonald just after sunset. As the night settled in I captured the quiet winter evening in the park which is quite different then being there in the summer.
