As I watch this pair of sandhill cranes pass across the landscape in search of a meal

The morning winter sun illuminates this prairie landscape scene with beautiful reflections from the south fork kishwaukee river in Northern Illinois

The temperature was in the mid 20's with little to no wind and overcast conditions

I stop at this bridge overlooking the South Fork Kishwaukee River with a peachleaf willow tree standing behind and winter elderberry bushes in the foreground to take it all in and admire the view while snapping off a few shots
