Skeeter Broom weeping maple A dwarf mapleSkeeter Broom is a very nice dwarf Acer palmatum that arose from a witchs broom of Bloodgood. Skeeters broom has bright red spring color, becoming burgundy red foliage in the summer, and bright red again in the Fall. As typical with witchs brooms, Skeeters Broom has a leaf with a truncated central lobe. Skeeters Broom is stronger and easier to grow than some of the other witches brooms.
