these fossorial spiders are from the southern edge of the Himalayan foothills

These super fast terrestrial spiders have a pink carapace and blue legs with a pretty iridescent rainbow glow all over when the light hits them

I suspect they get about 6 inches as adults

There are no photos of what this one looks like as an adult

Described by Brazilian arachnologist Cândido Firmino de Mello-Leitão in 1971

Psednocnemis brachyramosa 3/4” gift wrapping these fossorial spiders are fromsize 3 4 Described by Rick west of Canada and Steve Nunn of Australia in 2010 where it was originally placed in the Coremiocnemis genus. It was later transferred in 2012 when the genus Psednocnemis was created. This spider was bred in captivity for years before it was described though while usually just being referred too as Malaysian blue femur. Not a large spider, this obgalte burrow gets only about 4 inches as adults. Super beautiful royal blue
