Rare ‘Skaal’ Decanter and Schnapps Glasses, Jacob Bang, Holmegaard, Denmark. 1937. ceramics 5cm / Base Width: 10A superb addition to the SAD Gallery collection of carafes and decanters, this rare Holmegaard set by Jacob Bang is one of our favourites. Executed in frosted glass, the 1937 design depicts a jovial tipsy sailor in hand applied enamel paint, the words "Skaal!" (meaning "Cheers!") emblazoned in red above his head.
