In the early 1940s, he and Wilhelm Kge produced the very first 'Faience' series objects with Gustavsberg, of which Kge was the artistic director. Thrown or moulded from earthenware, this collection is known for its white glazes contrasted by brightly coloured geometric or floral decorations. The collection was so successful that Gustavsberg were
