Embroidered Birds and Geometric Pillow Butterflies I have been accompanied by"Embroidered design of birds in geometric patterns that represent the nature of Guatemala and its traditional customs." This work of art was designed and hand stitched by Melina Yol Chiquit , member of the Sumpango embroidery group. The embroidery is done in a variety of stitches in mostly shades of blue. The design is a combination of birds, geometrics and fauna on a deep indigo fabric. Beautiful on the couch or the bed.
