Antique Faux Ivory Vanity Set, French Ivory, 8 Pieces in Original Presentation Box, Art Deco, Edwardian Armed guards and representsThis is the really fine French "faux" or fake ivory, which is called French ivory and is actually a superior grace of celluloid that has both the heaviness and cool to touch feel of real ivory, but it is not. The quality is superb, all brushes are boar bristle, some very soft, indeed. No evidence it was ever used, but we've completely sanitized the set in any case. The old box does show age, but perhaps you'll just want these gorgeous old Art Deco
