Using a shallow depth of field I focused on the brick post and let the lines lead to the color in the background

On this winter day I focused my attention down instead of up and using the puddles to reflect the bridge allowing me to also show where I was at the time I captured this image

On this spring day I spent easily 30 minutes photographing the piece and the abstraction photographs which could be captured

While the residence was closed for renovations, I was able to walk around the exterior to photograph some of the architecture of the building. This photograph is the curving stairs leading up to the entrance of one of the studios.
