Swedish Grace pewter mirror sconce, Sweden. 1920s. lighting Height (with handle): 13A medium sized mirror candle sconce that reflects delightful and key elements of Swedish Grace; fine hand crafted pewter and delicate filigree, with a lone fleur de lis resting high above the oval frame. The motif may give subtle hints at the tradition of French being the spoken language in the royal court of Sweden. The long oval form is not as common as with other sconces of the period, making it quite unique. The pewter is used throughout as the
