Perpetua Medal Choose One:3/4" Wide – no chain a Blessed in the ChurchI painted the original with acrylics and colored pencils. The medal is a detail of that painting, which portrays Saint Perpetua, who died in the Colosseum with her disciple Saint Felicity in the 3rd Century AD. They both had to give away their babies before being fed to the wild animals in their total surrender to Christ. The palm branch in the background symbolizes martyrdom.
