Coby Whitmore: Artist and Illustrator The New French Metal Hurlant Middle Earth published portfolios byOut of print. Mid century glamour illustrator Coby Whitmore apprenticed under Haddon Sundblom in Chicago and later went to work for the Cooper Studio in New York. He was a regular contributor to all the top magazines (Saturday Evening Post, Redbook, Cosmopolitan, Ladies' Home Journal, Esquire, Good Housekeeping), and signed a five year contract to supply cover paintings for Cosmopolitan. This is the first extensive monograph devoted to the artist.
