Waterford Ballybannon 1.1 50% 70cl Le Verger Glenrothes 11 Years Old 2011Waterford Peated Ballybannon 1. 1 Nose: Creamy with a rich and flowing smoke note, a little hint of coconut flakes and soft almond, more of the smoke come into play as this dram opens in the glass. Palate: Soft malted notes with hints of barley sugar twists, smoke and peat layers across the mid and late palate, rich and taste driven to the lingering finish of soft fruit, cream vanilla and smoke notes, with dates and dark truffles.
