Early Wooden Moulding Plane (Beech) tractor A cracking old turned corkscrew

A cracking old turned corkscrew we believe to be made from lignum with a nicely turned metal shank

most of these types of shaves are Edward Preston shaves however the cutters on this shave are marked 'C

Hands is believed to have made this plane before 1760

many of which are coloured and lots of interesting content of the time
