Due to the 90 deflection, you still have a comfortable view even when viewing very high object positions close to the zenith. This prism is suitable for refractors, Schmidt Cassegrains, Maksutov Cassegrains and similar telescopes. Note: It is not suitable for Newtonian reflectors due to the light path length.
