Staithes, A View from the Bridge York watercolourStaithes is a small picturesque village on the East Coast of Yorkshire which was once one of the largest fishing ports in the North East of England. It is famous for its quirky, 18th cottages, beloved as a subject to paint by many famous artists who set up the Staithes Group of Artists.
