There's just the right amount of citrusy acidity to keep things in check too

Nikau Farm, Tonimbuk Pinot Noir 2020 Grenache I had some other LahertePlace: Victoria, Australia Grape: Pinot Noir Style: Mineral, textural All fruit is hand destemmed, cold soaked to get some colour out and then left for 14 days to ferment, before heading to stainless steel for a rest. No oak, ever. Nada. Sits in tank, nothing added or removed, none of the usual tricks or racking. Just left to rest. The resulting wine is pretty bloody good. A mix of mineral drive, restrained fruit and purity of texture. One to savour.
