Antique c.1825 French Hand Fan, Perforated Guards, Sticks, Hand Painted Portrait Miniature cabinet unscratched and I'm unsure ofMother and child, hand painted on one side of the small c. 1825 fan, and a bouquet of flowers painted on the opposite side. The fan is a portrait fan, a memento made for someone. Charming subject, and lovely early 1800s fan. Measurements noted in both cm and inches. Small, typical of its time, just 6. 5" long closed. Initially I thought it might be bone, long striated cell structure, but with even closer inspection, I do believe it is ivory*. Just a
