A French Art Deco Oak Desk Lamp 17th Century The lacquer has a lovelyArt Deco Split Wood Table Lamp The cylindrical drum shade constructed entirely of closely set horizontal reeded oak staves bound within circular end rings of darker tone, the whole forming a rolling shutter or tambour form of satisfying geometric regularity, the shade pivoting on a reeded columnar standard of classical Doric inflection, raised on a plain stepped square plinth base, the working toggle switch emerging at the junction of column and base.
