Negus were famous ships chandlers located at South Street Seaport in New York. With gimballed compass from E. S. Ritchie Boston, serial number 82885. Highly polished and lacquered. Mounted to a binnacle base with rope carved apron at square base. Awesome maritime relic. 36"H x 12"W x 12"D 29 lbs.
