They are not considered reef safe but in our experiences as long as they are juveniles and other fish in your tank don't nip corals they should be fine. This fish requires a plethora of room for swimming and growing but are bound to be the star of the tank. No need to worry about quarantining since they are all in a sterile stand alone system.
