2016 Chateau Fourcas-Hosten Listrac Medoc 750ml IGP Aude with flowering two weeks laterFor 200 years, Chateau Fourcas Hosten has enjoyed a fine reputation due its unusual terroir. In 2006, the estate was sold to the Mommeja brothers by Peter Sichel. The vineyard is evenly planted with 45% Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. There is 10% Cabernet Franc. The Chateau produces about 22,000 cases per year. In 2016, the final blend was 55% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc. The winery is currently transitioning to Organic
